The GS6-17BG is our go-to gearbox for M5x swaps in E30/36/46 without forced induction. These transmissions are much stronger than the earlier Getrag 220/250 5 speed which are notoriously weak. The GS6-17BG bolts up directly to BMW M4x/M5x motors with no adapter and will also utilise the same transmission brace as a Getrag 220/250 5speed which makes them an easy swap into E30/36/46 without a custom mount/brace. We can also supply clutches, modified tailshafts and parts to go with this transmission such as slave cylinders, pivot pins etc.
