Building on the base lightweight kit we do for the GS6-37 transmissions, this kit utilises a much stronger pressure plate and we can also offer ceramic disc options for users who want to push big torque/power.
Consisting of:
RHD lightweight flywheel (4.5kg) to suit GS6-37 short input shaft
Clutch disc of choice (organic for OEM like feel and take off or ceramic for more bite and more of an on/off feel)
BMW 550i pressure plate (this is the highest torque rating OEM pressure plate that BMW makes)
LUK throwout bearing
Flywheel bolts + pressure plate bolts
The 550i pressure plate that is used in this kit is what makes it work so well while still being very streetable. These cars have 600nm of torque in a 1900kg vehicle and even tuned can make over 700nm without clutch slip being an issue. We have not yet found the limits of these kits but the factory car would be a good indication of what these care capable of.
