The factory BMW Transmission mounts for modern vehicles are aimed primarily at comfort and as such are not well suited to spirited driving. These solid rubber isolated transmission mounts from E21 models are a great upgrade for your E30/36/46 without any drastic changes to NVH.
Due to the M10 stud used, you will need to file the inside of the gearbox mount foot to fit the larger stud and also drill a larger hole (10mm) in the transmission brace to accomodate this mount. We supply these mounts with matching nuts. Sold as a pair.
